Last week, the German Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, visited our concrete recycling pilot plant in Schwedt, Brandenburg, recently commissioned at the industrial site of LEIPA.
As a trained chemist, Ms. Reiche showed strong interest not only in our technological approach, but also in our personal founder journey.
She emphasized that Deeptech startups like Rement are essential for future-proofing Germany’s economy. The need to reduce bureaucracy and strengthen access to European venture capital is well understood and remains a clear priority for her. As she stated: “No one in our government believes that supporting startups is unimportant.”
At the same time, Katherina Reiche also highlighted the responsibility of German industry leaders to recognize and leverage the potential of startups. Regardless of the current political debate, we are united by the shared goal and responsibility of leading German industry into the future through cutting-edge technologies.
Rement is ready to do its part in this mission.
