Prof. Frank Dehn Appointed to Advisory Board

Robert Schleinhege

Today, we’re proud to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Dehn to Rement’s Advisory Board.

Transforming the world’s largest material stream into a scalable recycling solution requires scientific excellence, industrial insight, and uncompromising standards. As a renowned professor of civil engineering and expert in construction materials at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Prof. Dehn has shaped the field of concrete technology for decades — bridging cutting-edge research with real-world application.

Beyond his academic leadership, Prof. Dehn brings unparalleled expertise in standardization and regulatory frameworks. He serves on key committees at the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) and the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. (NABau), is a corresponding member of Comité Européen de Normalisation (CEN/TC 104), and contributes to the Deutscher Ausschuss für Stahlbeton e. V. (DAfStb) as well as the fib – International Federation for Structural Concrete – Fédération Internationale du Béton
and RILEM Association.

His deep expertise in concrete durability, material performance, and sustainable construction will be invaluable as we advance CO₂-negative concrete recycling toward industrial scale.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Dehn, we are honored to welcome you to Rement’s Advisory Board and grateful for your trust and support.

Let’s reengineer concrete waste — together.
